10 things people did before the internet you wont believe

Can you recall what was the world like before internet and technology took over? If yes, you are definitely not a teenager just like many of us. But if you are one, you wouldn’t know the struggles people had to face before the internet came as a helping hand. Now, you can just pick up your phone, type, and hit the search button for any query, any problem. But there were things that people did without the internet that you won’t believe. Pre-google life was different, very different. How? Let’s see.
1. Encyclopedias

Back in those days, people had to buy encyclopedias. Yes, they were physical books. And you had to search for the topic alphabetically for your research unlike now when you can directly jump to the topic you want.
2. Ask For Directions

Earlier, people did the search on their own. They had to carry maps, mark their destination and follow the path they can see. Most of the times, it had to be a guess as to which lane you should choose. Or asking the innocent bystanders.
3. Music Struggle

Now, you can easily download any song you like but back in the old days, people had to struggle to lay hands on their favorite music. Kids even burned (made) custom music CDs and sold them to their friends at school.
4. Going To The Libraries

You can buy books online now, read them on your phone, and delete immediately. But before the internet, real libraries were common and people did search for their book of interest. Some libraries were so big, people had to struggle to find what things they need.
5. Registering Mess

Registering for stuff was a real pain in the neck. You’d have to send a request to the company which will then issue a form that you need to fill and send to receive confirmation. Each step took several days.
6. Keep Change

Of course. How else do you think you’re going to use a payphone if you want?
7. Talk to your flame’s parents

In order to speak to your ‘the one’, you had to call and ask their parents if you can. However exciting it may sound now, we know, it was terrifying.
8. Waiting For The Photographs

What do you do now? Capture, store and flaunt. Before the internet, this was far from possible. We had to leave the film at the store, and wait until photographs were developed. Only then we could show things off to our friends, and you think we had an amazing childhood?
9. TV Shows

Need to watch that favorite cartoon of yours? You better tune into the channel at 8:00 AM sharp. Otherwise, you’re out of luck.
10. Playing

And by that, I mean real playing. Not your sitting-at-home-on-your-console type. Even parents were happy to see their kids going out to play (not too much, though!) unlike today when they’re actually worried that the child doesn’t even leave the room.

It has proved popular in Scandinavia, with more than 120,000 users across Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Experts are growing increasingly worried about the issue of device addiction. Nokia brings back the "8110" that appeared in d matrix

It’s easy to forget that Nokia was once one of the biggest phone companies in the world. In 1999, it was so popular that one of its devices, the Nokia 8110, appeared in the first Matrix movie. Now, the curvy handset nicknamed the banana phone is back. As well as unveiling a slew of  new handsets  at MWC, HMD Global, which creates Nokia-branded phones under license, showed off the new Nokia 8110 4G at the event. As it did with last year’s  Nokia 3310 , the company has updated the classic handset for modern users, though it is still a relatively cheap feature phone that’s likely to appeal mostly to retro fans—HMD even referred to it as a “vacation phone.” The new 8110 retains its original slider and curve and will be available in traditional black or banana yellow colors. It comes with KaiOS—a fork of Firefox’s now  discontinued  Linux-based mobile operating system—and uses HTML5 apps. Owners get Google Assistant, Maps, and Search, along with Facebook a...

Why Joseph parker is doomed if he fight Antony Joshua- Heavy weight boxer, Dillian whyte gives reasons

According to Daily Star UK, Anthony Joshua’s rival Dillian Whyte claims Joseph Parker is set to fail in his forthcoming heavyweight clash for one obvious reason. Whyte was unbeaten when he faced off against Joshua in December 2015, providing the future unified champion with the sternest test of his career. The 29-year-old appeared to have Joshua on the ropes when he wobbled him with a well-timed right hand. But he could not sustain the momentum and eventually became the 15th victim in a perfect knockout streak that has since extended to 20 fights. Ahead of his own heavyweight clash with Lucas Browne later this month, Whyte was asked whether Kiwi WBO world champion Parker could give Joshua problems on March 31. “Parker will come to fight but I believe what he brings to the table will work right into AJ’s hands,” Whyte told talkSPORT. “Because he is a ‘come-forward’ fighter, he’s not the strongest of guys and he’s not got the strongest defence and AJ will relish th...
